The question being asked at the moment is "How do you feel?" and the answer is “Much calmer than a couple of weeks ago”. I think I have done all the worrying and sleepless nights and gone over all the 'what-ifs’ so many times that they now bore me! In fact, we both said we have been a little bored during these last two weeks of final preparation
As is true for all of us, life holds both knowns and uncertainties.
We know that we will be met at the airport in Managua and that the project Si A La Vida is eagerly waiting for us to arrive. We know that in the first few days we will be sorting out visas, driver’s licences, Internet and mobile coverage in a very hot and humid country not known for its love of paper work or expediency. We know that we will then head to the island of Ometepe to rent and furnish a house, attend language school and settle into life working with the project.
And what we don’t know- well I can’t tell you!!
We are excited, we are ready and yes there will be tears at the airport.
We will keep you updated via the blog and the BCAS Nicaragua Facebook page and we will always welcome visitors ready for an adventure.
Con mucho besos
